It touched so many nerves and I was not ready. There is a dark joy in the ending that needs to be digested. But very good building up and character development.
This was REALLY good. I love how you managed to capture the small-town claustrophobia and Jen's dissatisfaction with her life, culminating in a truly terrifying end. Also, I like the narrative device of making the victims less sympathetic/likable so that you feel like Jen actually has a reason for doing what she does.
Story so good I almost cried
Thank you so much!

Thank you! Always happy if the stories make an impact.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I never intended for the boyfriend to be less sympathetic but it came out that way.
Poor Ryan - but, he sort of had it coming to him, didn't he?
At first I didn’t plan on that but it just happened. Sorry Ryan.
Great story!!
My mom used to make those horrible dolls back in the mid 1970s. She had a whole wall of them and used to sell them. This story gave me flashbacks!
Thank you! And I apologize for unearthing the flashbacks haha.
